Baby Update

We went to the doctor yesterday - everything looks good. I will be 32 weeks tomorrow. He even said I could go to dinner every once & awhile again!!!! yeah! At 34 weeks, he said I could go shopping & whatever - no gym but I do not think I could handle that anyway. I am starting to get really uncomfortable but I guess that comes with the territory.

If I do not go into labor before, my c-section is scheduled for Friday, September 5th (37 weeks)!!! It seems to crazy to have a permanent end date but I am not sure if I will make it the long - lol!

Chubba Bubbas!

We went to the doctor today to have the babies weighed. Here are their stats and they are exactly where they should be:

30 weeks; 5 days

Baby A: 3.8 lbs.

Baby B: 3.8 lbs.

The nursery is making progress. We cannot wait to pull everything together.

Trouble!

Dan finally got a dog! Just kidding - we are puppy sitting for my mom while she is moving. Here are some pictures of the trouble maker.

First Baby Shower

I had my first baby shower on Friday, July 18th hosted my Marci & Dana. It was so nice and I was absolutely thrilled that my doctor let me out of the house to attend.

Mom's House

My mom is in process of building a new house in Mt. Vernon. Here are two links to some pictures as of July 4th! It is down the street from my sister & Dan is very excited that it is on the golf course! This is the new pool that we cannot wait to swim in. Enjoy.

Baby Updates

Okay, Okay - We have heard from numerous people that we are severely slacking on updating our blog. Here are a few baby updates to bring you up to speed.

On Tuesday, June 17th, I was admitted to the hospital because of too many risk signs of pre-term labor. I was 25 weeks and received steroids to help the babies lungs develop faster. The worst part was the twice a day shots to prevent blood clots.

On June 24th, the babies were measured for growth - they were right on track. You can also see a leg & foot of Baby A and face of Baby B with a shadow not a hole in his head!

Baby A - 2.4 lbs

Baby B - 2.8 lbs

Luckily, I was stable at my 28 weeks check and was sprung on Thursday, July 3rd with continued full bed rest at home.

As if we had not had enough complications, we found out on Monday July 14th that I have gestational diabetes. For now it is controlled through diet & blood monitoring, which I thoroughly enjoy. It will go away, once I deliver but it is just one more thing to add to my list.

We go on Tuesday, July 22nd for our next baby measurement.
