NaNa Pickett's Birthday!

We celebrated NaNa's birthday at the "Bare Bowl" create your own pottery.  We had a great time and luckily the boys were entertained by passing traffic - go figure!  Riley & Sydney painted master pieces while made Elmo & Mickey t-shirts to represent the boys.  After painting, we headed to Hoggy's for lunch.  The serving tray we created turned out awesome!

Sledding!

We finally got to enjoy the boys' first play day in the snow.  We tried to take them to a local sledding hill only to forget their mittens at home - ugh!  Once home, we realized are sloped driveway is final good for something - sledding!

Happy New Year 2011!

We had a great time celebrating the new year, although it may take a few days for Dan to recover.  We spent the day relaxing and headed to my Uncle Bob and Herb's house for dinner.  I brought the Evert's traditional New Years Day dinner - hot dogs and sauerkraut - YUM!

New Years Eve!

2010 has been a great and we survived another year with the boys!  The have grown so much and are getting so smart!  I cannot wait to see what 2011 has in store for our family.

Myself & Dan actually went out this year to celebrate with Dan's good friends from Marion, Tiffany & Kirk.  We ended up at the VFW watching a pretty good band.  A good time was had by all but Dan, Tiffany & Kirk may need a few more days to recover!

Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful holiday season with family & friends. Christmas Eve we traveled to Mt. Vernon to NaNa Evert's for food, fun & presents.  The boys had a great time with their cousins and were exhausted by the end.  We drove back to Columbus that same evening so we could have Christmas with Santa at our own house.

 

On Christmas morning, the boys had fun opening presents but did not understand that Santa had visited while they were sleeping.

After we opened presents & stockings, we loaded up to drive to Marion to NaNa Pickett's house.  The boys had another great day of fun with their cousins Riley & Sydney.

It was great being on vacation the entire week before Christmas.  I had lots of time to shop, wrap and of course play!
