New Years Eve 2008!

Well, this will be our first NYE as a family and we are spending it at home.  Marci & Joe Burch (expecting baby boy Burch anytime) and Marla & Chad Sprecher are joining us for Wii games and Guitar Hero!  I am sure, I will not be staying up until, midnight because i will be getting up with boys to start off 2009!

Cereal Time

The Boys are finally allowed to have cereal and well it didn't go so well. Keegan didn't seem to mind it much, he is such a big boy!

Charlie on the other hand, not so much!

Holman Christmas Party

It was our 1st ever Christmas Party and we got all dressed up for it. That is Santa Claus on our shirts and he is coming to our house to give us lots of presents! But we had so much fun at our Christmas party. Mommy and Daddy ate and snacked on some of Debbie's yummy dishes. While Greg took our picture and entertained us. It was the best 1st Christmas Party Ever! We love going out,seeing people and having everyone hold us.

4 Month Checkup Charlie

I recently had my 4 month checkup and good news, I'm growing!

Weight: 14.2lbs

Height: 23.5 inches

Likes: I love my MOOvers and Shakers Cow! I also love talking. I have a huge vocabulary, I say mommy, hey and Woo like an owl. And I LOVE my wubby!

Dislikes: I don't like cereal, I tried it and its yucky!

Future: In the future I will be getting my choppers. I also plan on sleeping all the way through the night. I did it once and it felt soooo good I want to do it some more!

4 Month Checkup Keegan

We just had our 4 month checkup and boy have we grown!

Weight: 16lbs

Height: 24 1/4 inches

Likes: I love my MOOvers and Shakers Cow! It always seems to calm me down. I also love having my head petted. Its the best! Having someone read to me.

Dislikes: Naps, I hate naps, I wanna be up all the time during the day.

I'm currently working on eating cereal. I am working on talking and tummy time!

Future: In the future I think I'm going to get some teeth and sleeping through the night.

Santa Baby

The boys are on Santa's Nice List and got to meet the big guy. Keegan and Charlie both told Santa they want him to bring them lots of formula and diapers.

Oldie but a Goodie

Here are some 3 month pictures we had taken of the boys. It was a long day with long lines at the photo studio, but they boys were extremely well behaved! If any of you have ever been around Dan or have watched him doing something, well he always has his tongue out. As you can see Keegan is just like his Daddy!This is Keegan's 3 month photo, he is holding his head up high.

WTF?

With the tough economy we thought we could save and use the boys socks for gloves.
Actually, Daddy was having fun with the boys and thought it would be funny to put the socks on the boys hands. Charlie on the other hand wasn't laughing and was a little confused. Keegan of course went with the flow and thought it was funny like Daddy.

Farm Boys

The Pickett Boys are getting back to their family roots. Here they are in their overalls just like their Great Grandfather Pickett once wore.

Laundry Day

Anyone that has kids can relate, there is lots of LAUNDRY!!! Seems like everyday we do load after load of laundry. Its a never-ending chore! But Keegan was willing to lend a hand and help fold socks! Well, maybe he wasn't trying to help, Daddy could have just been trying to cover him up!

Just Saying Hi

It has been awhile since we posted some pics and we just wanted to say hi! As you can see Charlie waving. The boys have gotten so big! Keegan is pushing 15 lbs and loves to smile. Charlie is such a charmer! He always has a smile on his face and loves you to hold him so he can stare at your face. Both boys are attempting to speak. We are convinced Charlie has said "Ma'ma or Mommy" several times. Keegan goes from talking to crying, hard to tell if he is happy or sad. They are following in their cousin Carter's footsteps, as they are both sucking on their thumbs. Here you can see Charlie telling Keegan a secret. I think he is telling him what he is getting Daddy for Christmas. Lets hope its a new golf driver!

Gobble Gobble

It's our very first Thanksgiving and we got no Turkey! We had such a great Thanksgiving even without the Turkey. We got to play with our cousins, Riley and Sydney. Our Aunt Jodi wanted to take us home with her as well. We were so excited that we got to have a sleepover at Nana and Papa's house too! We are so thankful to have all these people who love us and always wanna hold us too!
We still don't understand why people make such a big fuss about Thanksgiving! Everyday is Thanksgiving to us. We eat, then sleep, eat and sleep everyday, what is the big deal? Maybe its the Turkey.

Weight: I currently weigh 12.5 lbs.

Nickname: Charlie Bear

Right now I love to jibber jabber! One of these days I'll be able to talk. I also love my activity gym! It has a mirror attached to it and I love to stare at myself.

In the future I plan on eating more, sleeping through the night and getting in more tummy time.

Nicknames: Skol (I stick my tongue in my lip and looks like I have a dip in.) Also, Kitty Cat (When I cry I sound like a kitty.)

Weight: 13.5 lbs is what I weigh currently

What I love to do is smile, play in my activity gym and eat. I also like it when Daddy rough houses me.

I'm working on sucking my thumb, but my darn hand gets in the way. I also plan on speaking and getting more tummy time.

The Boys

Here are a couple of pictures of the boys. Oh how they have changed in only two months! Crazy!!!Keegan with his chubby little cheeks. And Charlie, with his big blue eyes!

Trick or Treat

The Pickett Boys first Halloween! We got the boys all dressed up for Halloween in their matching outfits. As you can see they love the stroller and think they are going trick or treating.Then we informed Keegan we were only passing out candy and not going trick or treating. He wasn't too happy. Next year buddy, we promise!Here's Charlie looking so cute with his Pumpkin hat. And Keegan, who calmed down with his Owl hat.

Just to see you smile....

Last week the boys started to smile for the first time. Its great and it melts your heart! They love to have you tickle their face. When you do that they smile as wide as they can, so cute! Charlie was the first one to smile. He loves to smile at himself in the mirror.

Keegan loves the funny faces his daddy makes.

The Great Pumpkin......

Its finally Fall here in Ohio, Cathy's favorite season! Pumpkins, changing of colors, hay rides, cider and football. We decided to take the boys to a local pumpkin patch for them to get their first pumpkin. While we were there we were able to get some pictures of the boys picking out their pumpkins.

You have heard us say many times we loved our Doctors who helped us through the pregnancy. We are both totally grateful for everything these two have done for us and our family! We will always be in debt to Dr. Thomas Harmon and Dr. Matt Mingione!

Well we aren't sure who Charlie looks like but we have a pretty good idea Keegan looks like his Daddy! What do you all think?

1st Zoo Visit - Columbus Zoo

It was nice to get out of the house and into the sunshine!  The boys throughly enjoyed their first trip & slept the entire time.
